Aussie telecom group Telstra inks PPA for 260 MW of solar in NSW

Australian telecommunications company Telstra Group Ltd (ASX:TLS) signed a power purchase agreement to procure electricity from a 260-MW solar farm in New South Wales. The PPA will support the Glenellen solar farm owned by Global Power Generation (GPG). GPG is the international arm of Spanish utility Naturgy Energy Group SA. Telstra will receive 210 GWh annually from Glenellen. Telstra also signed a PPA with GPG's Bundaberg solar project in Queensland.
