Australia releases 2024 hydrogen strategy with production targets

The Australian government has published its 2024 National Hydrogen Strategy to become a global renewable hydrogen leader. The strategy includes Hydrogen Production Tax Incentive and Hydrogen Headstart initiative to scale up the industry. Australia aims to produce at least 15 million tonnes of hydrogen annually by 2050 and export 0.2 million tonnes per year by 2030.
