Australian mining and green energy company Fortescue Ltd announced plans to lay off 700 employees to streamline operations. The company is committed to achieving Real Zero by 2030 and is undergoing structural changes to improve efficiency. New appointments include Apple Paget as Group Chief Financial Officer, Shelley Robertson as Chief Operating Officer, and Navdeep Gill as the Company Secretary.
