The Ikea microgrid in Adelaide, Australia, features a 1.2 MW rooftop solar system and a 3 MW/3.45 MWh battery storage system supported by Planet Ark Power's eleXsys energy management system. Epic Energy owns and operates the $4.3 million solar and storage microgrid, providing power to Ikea and supporting South Australia's electricity network. The surplus clean energy stored can be traded in the National Electricity Market, benefiting grid stability and reliability.
