PV Lighthouse, an Australian software developer, received funding from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) to support the development of SunSolve Yield technology, aiming to improve yield forecasting for utility-scale solar projects. The software creates a digital twin of solar PV models and structures in 3D, providing more accurate forecasting and reducing guesswork for developers. Keith McIntosh, founder and CEO of PV Lighthouse and SunSolve, emphasized the importance of accurate forecasting for project financing in the solar industry.
