H2C announced the Goondiwindi Hydrogen project is moving towards procurement and construction phase after a financial investment decision. The project will use a 2.5 MW solar array and wastewater from Goondiwindi WWTP to produce green hydrogen via electrolysis. The facility could produce up to 1,350 tons of renewable hydrogen per year with plans to serve local customers and expand to businesses along the eastern seaboard of Australia. Construction is starting soon and the project aims to be operational by the end of the year.
