Australian miner energizes 96 MW offgrid wind-solar-storage plant

Liontown Resources has commissioned a 95 MW hybrid power station at the Kathleen Valley mine in Western Australia, comprising solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems. The station aims to supply 60% renewable power for the mining operation. The Kathleen Valley lithium project will contribute to the global lithium market, particularly for electric vehicles and battery energy storage solutions.
