Allegro Energy, an Australian battery storage startup, has secured a AUD 17.5 million Series A funding round led by The Grantham Foundation and Origin Energy. The company specializes in manufacturing water-based redox flow batteries and supercapacitors that are non-flammable and fully recyclable. The Grantham Foundation and Origin Energy are actively involved in supporting Allegro Energy's technology and growth in the renewable energy space.
