Australian solar installer fined over workplace injury

The workplace health and safety regulator in the Australian state of Victoria fined Sams Solar Pty Ltd for failing to provide a safe workplace during an asbestos removal and solar system installation project. The incident resulted in a worker falling through the roof, sustaining injuries. Safety Director Sam Jenkin highlighted the importance of following safety regulations to prevent workplace accidents.
