Australian startup, EDF team up to test electrolzyer tech

Hadean Energy has been awarded a grant to deliver a 5 kW pilot electrolyzer featuring technology that can produce hydrogen using 30% less electricity than existing electrolyzer technologies. The technology uses solid oxide electrolysis (SOE) technology to produce hydrogen by electrolyzing water using a combination of heat and electricity. Hadean's CEO, Chris Rowland, mentioned that the technology is 30% more efficient than incumbent electrolyzers.
