Australian state targets 1.5 GW of renewables and storage in latest tender round

The Australian state of New South Wales is implementing its Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap to deliver at least 12 GW of renewable energy generation and 2 GW of long-duration storage by 2030. AEMO Services is overseeing tenders for renewable energy projects in NSW. The first tender round was successful, resulting in investments in solar farms, a wind farm, and a long-duration battery. RWE Renewables was one of the successful bidders in the first tender.
