BayWa r.e. commissions 54MW Spanish agriPV plant, signs PPA with Velux Group

BayWa r.e. plans to commission a second agriPV project in Spain by the end of next year. They have commissioned their first agrivoltaics project in Spain, a 54MW facility, and signed a power purchase agreement with the Velux Group. The Alhendín project in southern Spain consists of 85,000 solar panels and involves agricultural research collaboration with Spanish universities. BayWa r.e. is working on another agriPV project with Velux Group in Gerena.
