BayWa sells 95MW Spanish solar farm

BayWa has sold its 95MW Almodóvar solar park in Spain to Encavis AG. The array is expected to be connected to the grid in the fourth quarter of 2025 and will have an annual electricity generation of 187 GWh. The sale is part of an ongoing partnership between BayWa r.e. and Encavis AG to advance solar and wind projects in Europe. BayWa r.e. has also signed a 10-year VPPA with Huhtamaki, covering 80% of their electricity needs in Europe.
