Bosch unveils water source heat pumps for residential, commercial applications

Bosch Home Comfort Group, a unit of German industrial conglomerate Robert Bosch GmbH, has launched new water source heat pumps intended for use in both new buildings and renovation projects. The Bosch CL and RL Series heat pumps aim to combine high-quality and efficiency with accessibility for HVAC units. They feature vertical and horizontal cabinets, use R-454B refrigerant, and ensure water coil and air coil freeze protection. The CL Series ranges from ½ to 6 tons, with dimensions and coefficient of performance varying based on size. It includes features like a swinging electrical box and slide-out blower for improved safety and accessibility. On the other hand, the RL Series offers similar specifications and additional elements like permanent split capacitor motors and a unit protection module for enhanced maintenance and protection.
