Botswana set to host 30 MW of solar with LCOE of $0.08-0.10/kWh

London-based clean energy investment firm Pash Global has formed a joint venture with Botswana-based project developer Tswana Renewables to build solar plants in Botswana. They aim to invest $35 million to build 30 MW capacity solar plants, supported by power purchase agreements from Travelodge and Ramotswe. The CEO of Pash Global mentioned their plan to sell power to private off-takers in Botswana with a focus on renewable energy penetration.
