BP moves forward on 10 GW wind-solar complex project with land purchase

BP has progressed its plans to establish 10 GW of wind and solar generation in Western Australia to power an export-scale green hydrogen and ammonia production facility. The company purchased Daisy Downs, a cropping property, to kickstart the Geraldton Export-Scale Renewable Investment (GERI) project. Phase one aims to develop 3 GW of wind and solar with infrastructure expected to be exported from the Oakajee Strategic Industrial Area.
