Brookfield secures 10.5GW PPA with Microsoft

Brookfield Asset Management and Brookfield Renewable have entered into a significant Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Microsoft to deliver over 10,500MW of renewable energy across the US and Europe from 2026 to 2030. This agreement could expand to include additional capacities in Asia-Pacific, India, and Latin America. The collaboration aims to support the increasing demand from digitalisation and AI adoption by enhancing the green energy infrastructure. This agreement marks a major step towards meeting Microsoft’s goal of a fully sustainable energy use in its operations by 2030.
