Brookfield seeks to acquire Neoen for €6.1 billion

Brookfield Asset Management has entered exclusive negotiations to acquire a 53.32% stake in Neoen, a French renewable energy company. The deal, if finalized, would give Brookfield full ownership of Neoen. Brookfield offered €39.85 per share in a total deal worth around €6.1 billion. Neoen's board supports the acquisition, which would enhance its investment capabilities. The transaction will involve three stages, eventually leading to Neoen's delisting from the Paris Stock Exchange.
