Bulgaria: 55 MWh battery energy storage system deployed

A new large-scale storage system with a capacity of 55MWh was installed next to a solar park in Razlog, Bulgaria. The system was deployed by EPC company Solarpro in partnership with battery manufacturer Hithium. Hithium provided 16 energy storage containers to Solarpro. The system, based on Hithium prismatic LFP BESS cells, has a low levelized cost of storage and integrates various management systems. Hithium has shown commitment to the European market by establishing a regional office in Munich, Germany, and forming alliances with Scan Global Logistics and CarbonX to advance the energy sector.
