Bulmetal installs battery storage system, plans new PV plant

Bulgarian metal packaging manufacturer Bulmetal has installed a new battery storage system with a capacity of 1 MW in partnership with solar PV developer Solar Home. They plan to construct a 1.2 MWh PV system at the factory. This marks the first joint energy storage project with four more in the pipeline. The system will optimize efficiency and energy independence. Bulmetal's energy management system will enable electricity price management. The company recently raised over 8.2 million levs in an IPO.
