Canadian Solar launches 5GW TOPCon module assembly plant in Texas

Canadian Solar inaugurated its first US production facility in Mesquite, Texas, with a 5GW TOPCon module assembly plant. They have a 5GW solar cell production facility in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The company recently secured a supply agreement for their US-made bifacial TOPCon TOPBiHiKu7 modules with Sol Systems. In Q1 2024, Canadian Solar shipped 6.3GW of solar modules.
