A research group in Australia has developed a perovskite solar cell using phosphorene (eBP) as the hole transport layer. The eBP flakes improve interfacial contact between the perovskite absorber and carbon electrode, leading to high power conversion efficiency. The cell achieved a record efficiency of 15.58%, with excellent stability under harsh testing conditions.
