Carrefour seals 43.3-MW renewables PPA with VSB in France

France-based food retailer Carrefour has committed to procuring green power from a 43.3-MW portfolio of wind and solar parks owned by German renewables developer VSB Group in France. The supplies will be made by VSB France under five long-term power purchase agreements. The electricity volumes will be sourced from wind farms and solar plants in Brittany, Occitania, and other regions to support Carrefour's goal of sourcing 100% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2030.
