Catalonia sets guidelines for agrivoltaics

The Department of Climate Action, Food and Rural Agenda of Catalonia in Spain has issued new guidelines for agrivoltaic systems, which combine agriculture and solar power generation. The guidelines enforce maintaining at least 60% of the agricultural crop yield post-installation and restrict soil disruption and loss of agricultural surface due to the structures.
