Chile's Andes Solar to build 13-MWp solar farm for power firm in Peru

Chile’s Andes Solar has signed a contract with an investor to build a 13-MWp solar photovoltaic plant in Peru, known as Villacuri. Peruvian power distribution company CVC Energia is investing in the project while Andes Solar will provide contractor services including engineering, procurement, construction, and operation and maintenance. The project will be located in the Salas district in Peru’s Ica province with work expected to start in the second half of 2024.
