Chile's c-bank optimistic about green hydrogen's economic potential

The Central Bank of Chile endorses the domestic green hydrogen sector, incorporating green hydrogen projects into its non-mining trend GDP growth projections. Five green hydrogen projects, if realised, would generate investments estimated at roughly USD 15 billion and produce over 300 kilotonnes of green hydrogen per year. Chile can deliver green hydrogen at a cost of USD 1/kg by 2030, but faces competition from other countries with comparable advantages.
