CIP, Uniper partner to supply Danish hydrogen to Germany

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) and Uniper SE have entered a collaboration through a memorandum of understanding to transport and market green hydrogen from the HØST PtX Esbjerg project in Denmark to Germany. This initiative aims to integrate up to 140,000 tonnes of green hydrogen annually into Uniper's green gas portfolio, catering to the German chemical industry's needs. The project utilizes gigawatt-scale electrolysis and aligns with strategic goals for expanding electrolyser capacity and hydrogen infrastructure.
