Climate investor SEIT sells UK onsite solar portfolio for EUR 106m

SDCL Energy Efficiency Income Trust plc has sold a 69-MW renewables portfolio, UU Solar, mainly consisting of solar assets in the UK, to a unit of UK Power Networks for GBP 90.8 million. The sale will help SEIT reduce its short-term borrowings. The portfolio was initially acquired for GBP 100 million and includes solar, wind, and hydropower. UK Power Networks, owned by CK Infrastructure Holdings, provides distributed energy solutions including EV infrastructure and battery storage.
