Colombian utility EPM begins commercial operations at 83MW solar PV plant

Colombian public utility EPM's Tepuy solar PV plant is now operational with nearly 200,000 bifacial solar panels. The country aims to add 6GW of renewable energy during the presidency of Gustavo Petro. An renewables auction awarded 4.4GW of solar PV capacity in Colombia. Solar PV activity is increasing in Colombia, as seen with Enerfín's 128MWp plant and Atlas Renewable Energy's acquisition of a 201MW PV plant.
