Construction begins on 72MW German hybrid

EnBW has held a groundbreaking ceremony for its 72MW energy park in Gundelsheim, Germany. The solar/wind hybrid energy park will include a battery storage system and a PV array with approximately 110,000 solar modules. The project area extends over 64 hectares, with environmental features like biotope zones. The mayor of Gundelsheim, Heike Schokatz, emphasized the importance of sustainable energy generation in the region. Plans for a wind farm with two Enercon E160 turbines are also in progress, aiming to generate 22 million kilowatt-hours per year.
