Construction begins on 72MW German hybrid

EnBW has held a groundbreaking ceremony for its 72MW energy park in Gundelsheim, Germany. The energy park features a solar/wind hybrid with a battery storage system. The solar park will have an installed output of 60.5MW and is expected to be commissioned in the first quarter of 2025. It covers a project area of 64 hectares and includes biotope zones as well as wildlife crossings. Plans for a wind farm with Enercon E160 turbines are also in progress.
