Dutch telecoms firm KPN signs solar PPA with Eneco

Dutch telecommunications company KPN signed a 15-year agreement to purchase electricity from a solar farm built by Eneco in Woensdrecht, Netherlands. The solar farm, with 88,000 panels, will be located under wind turbines at the Kabeljauwbeek wind farm. Additionally, KPN will receive over 200 GWh of power annually from the Ecowende offshore wind farm starting in 2027. Both contracts utilize a 'pay as nominated' mechanism.
