DYCM to build 2-GW solar module factory in Southeastern US

DYCM Power, a joint venture, plans to build a solar cell and module production facility in the US with Macquarie Capital as its partner. The project will have an initial capacity of 2 GW, expandable to 6 GW, with investments amounting to USD 800 million. The factory will produce TOPCon photovoltaic cells and modules. The specific location in the Southeastern US is being finalized. Supply contracts have been made with a US-based polysilicon provider and an MoU with a North American glass manufacturer. Mortenson will handle engineering and construction, while ECM Greentech Engineering will provide turn-key production lines.
