Electric cars are booming in Norway with around 84 percent of new cars registered being electric. The government provides incentives for electric cars, and a dense public charging network supports their growth. Norgesnett and Volue offer reduced grid charges for grid-friendly charging to handle increasing load on the local grid due to solar power feed-in and electric car charging.
