Equinor-owned East Point Energy is planning the construction of battery energy storage systems in Virginia, New York, and Texas. The Reid Energy Center in Nokesville, Virginia, and the Union Energy Center project in New York are facing potential moratoriums. East Point Energy also has projects in the ERCOT region in Texas.
