EBRD, Goldbeck Solar to develop 500MW solar PV in Ukraine

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and Goldbeck Solar Investment are forming a joint venture to develop up to 500MW of solar PV in Ukraine. The goal is to support Ukraine's energy resilience and independence. Joachim Goldbeck, CEO of Goldbeck Solar Group, expressed pride in supporting Ukraine's electricity grid expansion with renewable energy technologies. The new joint venture will increase Goldbeck Solar's current portfolio, and the company also signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ukrainian ministry of energy to promote private sector investment in the renewable energy sector.
