EBRD lends EUR 100m for Enefit Green's wind project in Estonia

Enefit Green AS has signed an agreement with EBRD to borrow EUR 100 million for the construction of a wind farm in Estonia. The loan term is eight years. The 255-MW Sopi-Tootsi wind farm is the largest under construction in Estonia. Enefit Green is building wind and solar farms in multiple countries. Their operational power generation capacity rose to 587 MW with the commissioning of the Tolpanvaara wind farm in Finland. The project aims to cover 40% of Estonian households' annual power consumption.
