The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is considering providing a 50 million euro senior secured loan to Bulgarian solar photovoltaic park developer Tenevo Solar Technologies for the construction of a 238 MWp PV plant. The project aims to generate 332 GWh of electricity annually, leading to CO2 savings of 250,000 tonnes per year. The project is expected to be financed partially under the EBRD InvestEU Framework for Sustainable Transition in June. Tenevo Solar Technologies is co-owned by Renalfa IPP, a joint venture between Renalfa Solarpro Group, RGreen Invest, and Eurowind Energy. Last September, SolarPro Holding initiated a hybrid wind, solar, and storage project in Tenevo.
