A new housing estate in Kressbronn, Germany is generating ground-level geothermal energy. The municipality plans to build residential units, a children's and family centre, a medical centre, and more by 2025, with a focus on energy self-sufficiency. Terra Consulting conducted a study recommending a centralised supply model for the neighbourhood. Lisa Oechsle from Terra Consulting highlights the benefits of this approach.
