Edify Energy plans to construct and operate a 200MW solar PV farm near the Callide coal-fired power station in Central Queensland, Australia. The project will include a 200MW/800MWh battery energy storage system (BESS). The solar facility will partner with sheep grazing as part of the agrivoltaics initiative. The BESS will store excess energy and support the grid during peak demand. The EU's Joint Research Centre also shows interest in implementing agrivoltaics.
