Edify Energy plans to construct a 200MW solar PV farm near the Callide coal-fired power station in Central Queensland, Australia. The project includes a 4-hour duration 200MW/800MWh battery energy storage system (BESS). The solar facility will incorporate agrivoltaics (agriPV) by co-locating sheep to graze. The project aims to maximize energy generation with single-axis trackers and store excess energy using lithium-ion batteries.
