Australian renewable energy developer Edify Energy is proposing the construction of a 200MW solar PV farm near the Callide coal-fired power station in Central Queensland, Australia. The project will include a 200MW/800MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) and incorporate agrivoltaics (agriPV) by co-locating sheep for grazing with the solar facility. The project will have a 50-year lifespan and provide power to Banana Shire and Central Queensland.
