Edify Energy proposes 200MW solar-plus-storage project in Central Queensland, Australia

Australian renewable energy developer Edify Energy proposed constructing a 200MW solar PV farm near the Callide coal-fired power station in Central Queensland, Australia. The project will include a 200MW/800MWh battery energy storage system. Edify has completed planning and environmental assessments for the project. The solar facility will incorporate agriPV and grazing with sheep to ensure ongoing agricultural use. The project will have a lifespan of approximately 50 years and provide power to Banana Shire and Central Queensland.
