Edison's 10-MW solar farm for Italy's IGAT starts operation

Italian chemicals group SIAD has launched a 10-MW solar farm in central Italy to power its member company IGAT Industria Gas Tecnici SpA. The solar farm, located in north-west Italy, will provide all electricity for IGAT's plant in Pignataro Maggiore, Caserta province. With a 10-year term, the project is supported by a power purchase agreement with Edison Energia. The facility is expected to generate around 14 GWh annually.
