Edison seals PPA for solar power from Italian PV parks

Edison SpA signed a power off-take deal with solar developer Chiron Energy for the construction of five PV parks in Northern Italy. The agreement involves procuring the plants' power production and guarantees of origin for up to 10 years. The farms will be in Lombardy, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, and Veneto, generating about 50 GWh annually. Edison aims for renewables to make up 40% of its power mix by 2030.
