Edison, Webuild team up for 500 MW of pumped-storage in Italy

Italian energy supplier Edison SpA and local industrial group Webuild SpA have agreed to enter into a pumped-storage hydro (PSH) partnership to deploy at least 500 MW of new capacities by 2030 in two projects in South Italy. The initiative estimates EUR 1.2 billion of private investments and aims to increase green capacity to 5 GW by 2030.
