Egypt inaugurates 252-MW Gulf of Suez wind farm

Egypt inaugurated the 252-MW Gulf of Suez wind farm to expand renewable energy share in power mix. The wind farm owned by NREA saves 200,000 tonnes of fossil fuel annually. Total investment cost EUR 220 million financed by European institutions.
