Egypt inaugurates 252-MW Gulf of Suez wind farm

Egypt has inaugurated the 252-MW Gulf of Suez wind farm to generate clean electricity. The wind farm is part of Egypt's plan to expand renewable energy share to 42%. The project was financed by European institutions. Minister Shaker stated Egypt's potential for wind and solar energy.
