Egypt to partner with UAE to add 4 GW of renewables to grid

Egypt and the UAE will collaborate to add 4 GW of renewable energy capacity to Egypt's power grid. The meeting between high-ranking officials from both countries focused on solutions to Egypt's energy problems, clear roadmaps, and mechanisms for cooperation in the energy sector. Masdar, a key player in green energy projects, is actively involved in ambitious projects in Egypt including wind and green hydrogen initiatives.
