Elawan bags Google PPA for 37-MW solar project in Texas

Spain-based renewables company Elawan Energy SL has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Google LLC for its 37-MWdc solar project in Texas. Elawan is part of Japanese corporate group ORIX Corp and manages a portfolio of over 300 MW in the US grid regions ERCOT, SPP, and PJM. The company's global portfolio includes 1.8 GW of renewables in operation and around 8 GW in development.
